To change or not to change?
Professor Anil K. Gupta states that constant revolution can be just as bad for a company’s health as complete inertia. The real source of sustainable competitive advantage lies in being ambidextrous—in figuring out which aspects of the company’s business model must remain relatively constant or evolve incrementally, and which other aspects must continue to change radically in response to new opportunities and new imperatives.
