NewspaperProfessor Vaivio’s trip to Taipei also coincided with meetings with several top notch Taiwanese Universities. He felt HSE’s MBA and EMBA executives will stand to benefit from such multi-cultural and cross border learning. Strategic partnerships with good universities also meant that academically, faculty exchanges will spawn new knowledge and findings in the fields of management science.

Professor Vaivio’s visit culminated in an Executive Network Dinner Party organized by HSE Executive Education’s partner in Taipei, Neo-Channel Institute of Strategy & Innovation. Alumnus and current EMBA executives mingled and caught up with one another. In fact, such was the frenzy of instant catching up, hearty back-slapping, hugging and handshaking that took place at the registration table outside the Hall that no one even seem interested that dinner is being served!

Group Pic
Alas, in the midst of all the revelry, the hours slipped away too quickly and soon it was time to go. Group photos were taken, name cards and contact numbers were exchanged and pledges to meet up soon for lunch or drinks were struck marking the end of an enjoyable evening.
